? WHAT IS A CIM ADDON PACK

CIM stands for custom item model, a type of addon pack that uses a Data-Driven Block Method to get custom blocks in minecraft bedrock.
Since they are (custom) blocks, you can get these blocks mostly via function command, /give command, or the stonecutter method.
CIM addons only work on 1.16.200 above.

? what's geometry fix pack - 1.19.10 - 1.19.22

Minecraft bedrock's v1.18.10 and above change it's Custom Geometry Limit into [15,15,15]. Restricting creators for making bigger custom block models. And by activating Geometry fixer pack bypasses that restriction. I've made a video on how to get the pack and explained some more of its info ↷

? does cim addon packs work in consoles

There are some cases that it does work for the first time, but when updating or downloading new addon packs; there’s some errors you’ll encounter.
Sadly, there’s no direct fix for this. The alternative you can do is joining in a local multiplayer world (Mobile/Pc Host) with the pack enabled on that world so you can use the pack. But again, this is not a direct solution. It may or may not work.

No, I won't leave minecraft bedrock, I still enjoy building and making packs in that edition. But I will quit if minecraft bedrock gets too complicated or people keep porting my packs without permission or porting a pack (and then releasing them) even though I already have asked permission and got approved to port it.

? when importing a pack, it says not a valid zip archive/pack failed to import

make sure you're importing a .mcpack or .mcaddon file, and not a .zip file. This usually occcur on Apple devices, watch this tutorial on how to import packs if you have this issue: https://youtu.be/uBaIR9lHLX0If you downloaded a minecraft pack and its in a .zip file, just rename/replace the .zip word into .mcpack (for texture packs) or .mcaddon (for addon/cim pack).

? when I applied a cim addon into minecraft, I can't see the models

Check to see that you apply it to your World Settings and not your Global Resources! Note that you must use the /function command because the goods aren't currently craftable or in your creative inventory.

? I can't see the additional modding capabilities in my world settings

In 1.18 and 1.19 of minecraft bedrock, Additional Modding Capabilites is now replaced by Upcoming Creator Features. activate that instead.

? when I summon furniture blocks, it shows as a dirt block with a word "updated" written on it

You didn't activated your world's Experimental Gameplay. Always double check if you have these settings enabled ↷– Holiday Creator Features

? Why do some of the CIM models turn invisible?

This issue is inherent in Minecraft; when custom blocks are larger than one block, the CIM will become invisible or unable to load. The only way we can resolve this issue at this time is by changing the CIM pack itself.

? why does a furniture model cast a black shadow when put against an enclosed wall

This is a problem with the lighting on custom blocks in Minecraft. This can be avoided by disabling "Smooth Lightning" in the video options. There is currently no fix for this in the pack.

? when i play with these cim addon packs, why does my world become so laggy

This is brought on by a device with insufficient or low memory. Playing CIM packs on Bedrock Windows 10 Edition is intended. Most of these packs will run most efficiently on Windows 10. Although it still supports mobile, tablet, and iPad devices, it calls for a good gadget or more recent phones.
